Intro

This change log will be updated with each release. Be sure to check back to see what new features are being added and what bugs have been resolved.

This may also at some point be used to help track known outstanding issues.

  • August 05, 2011
    • Updated site colors and layout significantly.
    • New menu layout.
    • Moved items into more manageable pages (not just one pig page now).
    • Added BMI chart and user height settings.
    • Added ability to choose if you want people in chart/summary table "selection" boxes.
    • Share settings are now more seperated and easier to configure.
    • Lots of options added to the share settings.
    • New Tip: line.

    • Added the weightloss sight as a self contained site belonging to DaveSaraSmith.com
    • Added weightloss.davesarasmith.com
    • Added weightloss specific "About" section.
    • Added weightloss specific "Help" section.
    • Modified site map.
    • Modified graphs to get data in an additional pass (slows graph load time, boosts page load time).
    • Modified weight graph so "Goal" series is behind all other series.
    • Fixed graph refresh issue when entering new weight.
    • Fixed graph weight goal color not reflecting selected color.
    • Unsolved known issue: Graph grid line color selection no longer works.

    • Added ability to view only someones weight change (+/- lbs.) or trend (+/-).
    • Added "Weight Trend" chart.
    • Added "Weight Change" chart.
    • Added user comments section, comments are shared with those who you share your "Weight" with.
    • Added summary data section with lots of aggregate information.
    • Added ability to change colors of chart objects.
    • Added ability to enter/modify goals.
    • Added notifications ability. Notifications are listed at the of the weightloss page.
    • Added notification to a user when someone shares or changes share settings with them.
    • Modified data grid to only show your information, but show more of it (change, trend, low, comments).
    • Modified "Chart Display Settings" to be a modal popup instead of displaying above the chart.
    • Modified "User share settings" to be a modal popup on the main weight loss page.
    • Modified selection of what users to view, it is now a modal popup.
    • Modified look and feel of the interface (colors, button types, etc).
    • Modified weightloss main header (it now reads "Weight Loss" instead of the generic "DaveSaraSmith").
    • Modified site tag to read as "BETA" status.
    • Removed "Weightloss" sub menu. All weightloss actions can be done from the "Weightloss" menu item.

    • Added ability to save who you view by default when loading the page.
    • Added ability to save weight chart display settings.
    • Fixed issue where average calculation only started with current display range.
    • Changed weight data to sort with newest on top.
    • Changed weight data to display by default.
    • Weight data and weight chart can now both display at the same time.

    • Added graph weight "break" ability if ranges being viewed are too great.
    • Fixed issue preventing you from sharing your weight with some users.
    • Removed demo users from users to view the weight of.
    • Added sorting in several locations.
